Why La Font
A different kind of education, with deep roots
We're not just another school. We try to understand childhood differently, with calm, with beauty and with respect for each child's rhythm.
Holistic education
Here your child is never just another pupil. We educate the head, the heart and the hands together: clear thinking, a healthy emotional life and a love of work done well. We want them to grow up whole, sure of who they are and eager to learn.
Free of screens, by choice
A screen-free childhood, chosen with care. Real attention, real play and human relationships: everything that will help your child concentrate, imagine and feel at ease with others for life.
In contact with nature
Learning outdoors, observing the seasons, tending the garden and eating well. Nature isn't an occasional outing: it's part of every week.

Waldorf education
Everything in its own time
Waldorf education accompanies each stage with what it asks for: play and movement when children are little, imagination and art in primary school, independent thinking and commitment in secondary. Without rushing and without screens, because every child has their own rhythm.
Low-tech by choice. Thoroughly prepared for what's coming.

What they say about us
For me, La Font has been a school that has allowed me to learn in a very natural way where most of the things we did were related to each other. From my time in primary and secondary school I take away many moments that I will not forget: the very good relationship with the teachers, the way of learning in which what they explained to us was tangible and not completely theoretical, the spaces of the school and the friendships... I think that for me, a person with a fairly scientific mind, it has been a way of developing many skills that go beyond the intellectual, allowing me to train more glo
Former La Font alumni, now in high schoolSecondary educationMy experience at La Font school during primary and secondary school has been very positive, with excellent support. The way of learning and understanding the concepts has made them very clear to me to have a good foundation for high school.

Mother, early yearsEarly yearsWhat we value most is the human warmth: here they know each child by name and truly walk alongside them.

But will they learn to read?
Yes, in good time and with meaning. Our children read well and with pleasure, and move on naturally to sixth form or whatever they choose to study. Nothing is given up here: each child's own pace is respected.

The best way to understand it is to come and see
A Waldorf school is best understood by walking through it. We open our doors several times a year, and every month you can come on a guided visit. No commitment: just to get to know us.
